The Beginning
Born from hospitality
Built for hoteliers.
Interior Images began in 1998 with founder Val Houston and a simple advantage: she understood hospitality from the inside.
Having been a hotelier herself, Val knew that sourcing for a property was about far more than finding beautiful products. It was about knowing what a hotel actually needs — and finding solutions that deliver on brand, guest experience and quality while standing up to the realities of a working property.
That understanding shaped Interior Images from the beginning. What started as a specialist hospitality supplier grew through relationships, recommendations and a willingness to solve problems when something couldn't simply be ordered from a catalogue.
More than 25 years later, that same thinking remains at the heart of the business: understand the property, understand the guest, then create the right solution.

From there, we can guide as much of the process as you need. For new hotel openings, refurbishments and existing properties, our team can help determine what’s required, recommend the right products and specifications, source across categories, develop bespoke solutions and project manage the process through to delivery. Need something that doesn’t already exist? We can help create it. Our product development capability allows us to work with clients on bespoke products, custom amenity programs and signature scents designed specifically for a property or brand. From the initial idea through development, sampling, production and delivery, our team provides the experience and guidance to bring it together. We know the questions to ask, the details that can be overlooked and the practical considerations that matter once a product enters a working hotel. We hold stock across multiple locations and deliver promptly and cost-effectively, so supply never gets in the way of the guest experience.
